DOES A YACHT PARTY TICKET INCLUDE EVERYTHING?
Yes. All drinks, food and entertainment are included with your ticket price. All inclusive!
IS THE YACHT MASSIVE?
Yes. It is almost the size of a football field and can accommodate over 1000 people without crowding on the top deck. Twelve Bars are available throughout the yacht including food stations on the bottom and middle decks so lines are minimal and there is plenty of room for dancing/relaxing.
WILL YACHT PARTY BE AFFECTED BY INCLEMENT WEATHER?
No. The Yacht has three decks: the bottom deck and middle deck are completely enclosed and climate controlled with large picture windows for amazing views. The top deck is partially enclosed with a clear special event tent (to maximize the view) and the remainder of the top deck is open for guests to enjoy (and also to cool down from dancing!). There are both indoor and outdoor stairwells to provide excellent flow throughout the yacht.
WHAT TIME IS THE PARTY?
The Yacht Party is on New Year’s Eve (December 31st, 2016). The Yacht will begin boarding at 8:00 PM at Grape Street Pier located at 1800 N. Harbor Drive. The bars will open and hors d’oeuvres will begin to be served at that time. The yacht departs the cruise ship pier at 9:00 PM and will return to dock at 12:30 AM and the party ends at 1 AM.
ARE GROUP RATES AVAILABLE
Due to popular demand, group rates are no longer available.
ARE THERE ANY VIP UPGRADES AVAILABLE FOR THIS EVENT?
No. The Yacht Party is an all VIP event. All tickets provide all access to the entire yacht.
HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY TICKETS?
Tickets can be printed using the link in your confirmation email. You must print and bring your ticket for entry. A valid state/government issued I.D. is required as well.
WHAT IF I HAVE PURCHASED TICKETS AND NEED TO REPRINT THEM?
If you need to reprint your tickets, please send an email with your information (name, your email address and confirmation number, if available) to email@example.com with a subject line that states “resend ticket email”.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE TO ATTEND THIS EVENT?
All guests must be at least 21 years of age to enter. No one under age 21 will be allowed aboard so please do not purchase tickets if you are under 21 because no refunds will be issued. All guests must have a government issued identification card to verify their age. False identification will be confiscated by the private security personnel contracted by Hornblower Cruises and Events.
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
Please dress to impress. We recommend that Ladies wear cocktail attire or evening dresses and Gentleman wear business-like attire, “downtown” upscale style attire or suits. It’s also recommended to bring a jacket for your travels to and from the boarding location.
WILL THERE BE MULTIPLE BARS THROUGHOUT THE YACHT TO ENSURE MINIMAL WAITING FOR BEVERAGES?
Yes, there will be multiple bars stationed throughout the yacht providing an expedited bar service to all guests.
WILL YACHT PARTY BE OVERCROWDED?
No, the Mega Yacht has two spacious interior deck levels that span 7,000 square feet each offering more than enough room for eating, drinking and dancing for all guests in attendance. Plus, the yacht boasts a 8,000 square foot Sundeck that will provide the best views of San Diego for all 1000 guests!
WHAT WILL BE THE GENDER/MARITAL STATUS “MIX” OF YACHT PARTY?
The usual mix of Yacht Party is an even amount of both singles/couples and men/women. Ages will range from mid 20’s to early 40’s.
I HAVE BOUGHT MULTIPLE TICKETS TO YACHT PARTY. DO WE NEED TO CHECK-IN TO THE EVENT TOGETHER?
No. Each guest needs to bring their own ticket and a valid government issued I.D. The tickets will be authenticated using a computerized system. Special circumstances regarding guests need to be coordinated in advance by contacting Customer Support at firstname.lastname@example.org.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANNOT ATTEND YACHT PARTY BUT I HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED TICKETS?
All sales are final and there are no refunds of any amount, regardless of circumstances, for this event. You are welcome to give your ticket to a friend. If the event sells out and we have enough time (at the discretion of VAVi) to resell your tickets, we will do our best to assist you. Please contact Customer Support at email@example.com.
I CAN’T GO TO YACHT PARTY AND WANT TO SELL OR GIVE MY TICKETS TO SOMEONE. CAN I JUST GIVE THEM MY RECEIPT SO THEY CAN USE THAT TO ENTER THE EVENT?
Yes. Please understand that the computerized scanner entry system will only allow the first ticket with a unique bar code to pass the security system. Any copies of tickets will become void and will be denied access to the event.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING WITH ME?
This event is age 21 and up only. A valid picture identification is required for entry. Acceptable forms of ID include: a valid U.S. Driver’s License, a valid U.S. State-issued ID card, a Military ID, a valid U.S. Passport, or a valid International Passport. The event will not accept driver’s licences issued from foreign countries. This is a California Alcohol Beverage Control board requirement. Sorry, no exceptions.
It’s required you bring your id, the credit card used to purchase the ticket and receipt for ticket purchase to board the yacht. It’s recommended that you bring taxi fare and a jacket for your travels to and from the boarding location.
IS THE YACHT’S INTERIOR CLIMATE CONTROLLED?
Yes. Both interior deck levels have climate control systems.
IS THERE A COAT CHECK?
A coat check will be provided free of charge on the lowest deck (please tip the coat check team as they work for tips). Due to limited space in the secure coat check area we will be unable to accept bags or other items.
WHAT IS THE LAYOUT OF THE YACHT?
The Yacht consists of three levels. Two are enclosed with huge picture windows while the sundeck provides a 360 degree view of San Diego Bay. There is a variety of seating, including tables, chairs and lounge furniture.
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC WILL BE PLAYED DURING YACHT PARTY?
Music played will span from Hip Hop, Top 40, Dance Remixes, EDM, 80’s, 90’s and more! See all the entertainment here.
WILL THE YACHT LEAVE THE CALM WATERS OF SAN DIEGO BAY?
The yacht will remain in the calm waters of San Diego Bay, guaranteeing a smooth, easy ride!
WHAT ARE THE SEATING ARRANGEMENTS?
Both interior deck levels will have a variety of cocktail seating, belly bars and lounge furniture in a variety of sizes and shapes, in order to create perfect socializing areas. There will be as much seating as possible without hindering the flow of the guests throughout the event. VAVi does not guarantee seating for all the guests at one time during the event. ARE BACKPACKS OR LARGE BAGS ALLOWED ONTO THE YACHT?
Security will screen all bags of any size as guests board the yacht. Millennium Events and our affiliates have a zero tolerance policy for any weapons, drugs or other illegal substances. There will be a coat check, but due to limited capacity, large bags will not be accepted.

Yes, smoking will be permitted on the top deck.
